i just installed some -40mm lowering springs on my 325 sport but its too low to live with .. Car has problems with ramps , speed bumps driveway access etc.. the standard mtec springs are way too high . should i go for adjustable coilovers or is there anyway i can stick with these springs and fix with adjustable shocks ? I dont want to spend a fortune ..
appreciate any comments .

Ride height is set by springs alone. Shocks, adjustable or otherwise won't affect ride height.
Front springs intended for a four pot?

along with shot beam bushes and no spring pads at the rear, that would leave it arounf -55 all around.

Not quite right.. You should plan on the correct ride height with the correct springs but you can tune the ride height with adjustable platforms. How else could you corner weight a car ?

Adjustable platforms, yes, but not adjustable dampers.

A picture would help, and as asked what springs did you buy and are they for a six pot engine? What wheels and tyres are you using?

You can buy/make rubber spacers to sit between spring and the seat to raise the car by a few mm, trick is to stop them falling out or becoming thin.
