Does anybody know if altering the spring tension on one of these is worth doing to gain more power. :D

No they are laser timed by Bosch and it will ruin the unit.

Not a good plan to fuck about with it mate, they're enough of a pain as it is.

If you've got the kit to do it, it IS possible to alter the tension on the spring by one or two teeth on the wheel under the black cover, but you MUST mark with tip-ex or something where it is from the start as you WILL lose track of which tooth it was on! To be honest...the gains are not worth it anyway and are more often losses than gains!

I didn't think it would be worth doing, don't really want to go to the expense of a hotwire meter and all the extra hassle.
