Hey guys! I just fitted my new wiper motor and winter tyres today and i got home and when i lock my car after about 10 minutes my alarm goes off! I have disconnected the plug going into the siren but it keeps flashing! It was working fine before today so i wonder if i have disturbed something whilst moving the wiring loom?

Its a bmw factory alarm, All the windows and doors are shut aswell?

Any ideas?

Hi
Sorry about the alarm. Same on my 1990 318 E30. The remote had no effect on it. Lcukily I found a keyswitch thingy in the engine bay which disables it. The alarm is an original BMW option fitted from new. BUT -
My principal intetest is how you removed the wiper motor. Is it a difficult job? My intermittent (delay) function isn't working right, goes in 'fits and starts'
Thanks
TT
