Hi,

Does anybody specialise in or know of a specialist that does either cylinder head refurbishment or exchange replacement.

My car smokes slightly on start up and I suspect the valve giude oil seals, therefore I need these replacing (which I know isn't a big job) but also to be on the safe side I want the head checked/tested and skimmed, if necessary.

It would save me time if I could exchange, but a quick refurb would be ok. Likely costs?

I'm based in Maidenhead, near London, but regularly travel to Birmingham.

Cheers,

Martin.

Martin, i can supply you with a name and address for someone more than
capable to do what you want, however they are in Northamptonshire.

Anyone local to you who is a member of the below should be fine.

http://www.fer.co.uk/

Just noticed that if you enter your Postcode on that site,

you should find someone localish.
