Has anyone fitted one to their E30 and if so how easy was it and what was the make of the aerial?

I'm assuming you mean on the roof. Think Toby has got a bee sting from a Mk2 Golf on his car but that's fitted in the usual place on the rear wing.

If your fitting on the roof your going to need to remove part if not all the roof lining to run the cable to the aerial. Suppose you might get away with extending it up from the standard position in the rear wing up the C pillar and across to the centre of the roof.
