Anyone interested in doing an M42 stroker conversion?

I've got all the bits needed to do it, I'm gonna put it all on eBay as I'm leaving the country in 10 days and it needs to go. Just thought I'd enquire in this section to gauge interest, as I haven't yet got pictures of it all to start a 'for sale' thread

For more info call me on 07738 424746

Pick up from South Croydon, near junction 6 M25

Mr redcar, I have an M42 block bored out to 86.6mm with S50 lightweight high compression pistons (from a race engine), M54 aly conrods, custom gudgeon pins, M47N 2.0 crank with a full set of new big end and main journal bearings, M20 flywheel and starter motor

Also, a fully stripped M42 lump. Eveything was taken apart, cleaned in the acid bath and labelled up ready to be put back together, I think I may even have a full gasket set in the box for it

The small end bearings need to be changed on the gudgeons of all the pistons as they knock slightly on idle. I was quoted £88 for all 4 made from self-lubricating brass, I think from Sutton Rebore

Would make a great project. tim_s has a lot of info on these. They make great power and torque, especially when coupled with a decent management system

It cost an absolute forune to get hold of all these bits. I want 500 quid for the lot of it, its all boxed up ready to go. If I can find them, I'll even throw in a set of K1200S 38mm throttle bodies I was gonna chuck on it

Kos, how are you bud? I'm going for a year to travel round and look for a job. Been told I can get work in WA on the plant machinery they use in the mines, the money is ridiculous! So if I can get work, yes I will be leaving this hole!

Good luck with the traveling and job hunt. I hear you are/were at park lane
While the UK can be a shit hole, the grass isn't always greener on the other side

Anyway, good luck and see you around
