If you really must have them, then split the existing units and put rings in, it's a slightly less vile way than the complete units you can buy which are cheap tacky crap.

Any h1 hid setup will work very nicely in the standard late model lights, just be aware they will technically fail the MOT from January onwards.

No angel eyes will pass a taste mot ;)

It's hids which won't pass from next year, not angel eyes, assuming they're not a stupid colour.

They are changing the MOT to fail them on cars not fitted with them new.

Not that it matters, it only takes 5 minutes to change back to candles.

chill Winston, turn your sensitivity button down dear.
i wasn't "calpping" at all and certainly not in a negative way directed at you, i was just applauding what i saw as quite a clever comment.
yes, you are correct. it was the way you worded it, seemingly implying that anything non-standard was wrong.
your opinion of "chav wagon" may equal another person's opinion of "boy-racer mobile".

i have no feelings either way except that zoners can do whatever they like with their own cars irrespective of what anyone else may think and without having to feel apologetic to them.
ok?

who said it was? :? im not talking about originality, its quite hard to do original things to a 20 year old car as near enough everything has been done...some things done to death!

All im saying is everyone with exactly the same thing is boring, if you want to change your own car up a bit who are any of us to judge..do what you want with your own car end of.

If you post up ideas or pictures on a public forum EVERYONE has the right to an option. Just because most people have good taste and you haven't, there's no need to get upset. winkeye

I should hope there is! You can hardly compare VW with BMW.

I know, have you seen what they do to their cars?

Maybe if more of them got told the truth, they wouldn't ruin so many usable motors.

I would imagine you'd get similar comments if you went onto any of the decent vw forums and asked about fitting angel eyes to a mk2 golf tbh.

Funny thing is he didn't come on her asking what everyone thought of angel eyes and HID's..he asked a question and everyone pounced on him about his decision to do something to his own car..
