no updates as of yet
been really busy at the workshop with customers cars.
all brake setup out of 750i V12 was delivered last week, and oredered the SPEC 3 clucth from america last week so that will be arriving soon.
once all parts have arrived will start to continue this as i want to get it done asap.
will update as soon as i can.
P.S-
rix313 the topmounts havent actually been put in place yet, just bolted up quickly so i could get the coilovers on.
once the brake lines are put in then i will adjust them.

In the process my clutch was delivered,so off came the original SACHS one,and this was the one i bought from USA
Kerrie recommended this one,so here it is bolted up.

Then i had the other side engine mount to do,this was a bit of a pain because there was the original mount but with 2 oil feeds which came from the oil catch tank built in,so i had to grind some off but still keeping the original part.
Heres what it looks like with a bit of fabrication-

After that i started on my rocker covers, had them sand blasted(was let down by a ZONER)so alot of time was waisted there, anyway they were then painted in WRINKE paint, then dust coated with a bit of METALLIC-
What you guys think?

****UPDATE 07/01/2012****
more of an update, got the dye though from ebay which i ordered.
applied 2 coats and this is the outcome-

over christmas i had the hydro braking system fitted, this is used in the 740i(e32) and 540i(e34).
after some fabrication i then had to strip it down and then repaint the engine bay.
Here are some pics-

this week i put the engine in to see if the manifolds i bought cleared, but unfortunately they didnt so then we took it back out to take the manifolds off.
now im going to fit the engine in,then drop it off to a mates place to have the whole system hand built.
going to cost around £2k but no point cutting corners.
more to come!

guys havent updated this thread in ages, but alot of waor has been done.
so here are the updates-
engine went in,i found a wiring diagram off my old one, wired it up to see if it all starts etc,and it did,so just need to neaten up the wiring in the engine bay,and then move onto the coolant pipes, and fitting the electric fan.
as you can see the clearence between the hydro servo and the head in very close, but enough clearence,id say a PREFECT fit!
Engine ready to go in

All brake lines re done.

Engine in!

I then managed to get hold of STRAIGHT calypso red wings and bonnet, fitted them.

I got my LSD back from a mates mate who rebuilt it for me,ordered some B373 LSD oil.

Then my wheels had arrived from germany,i tried them on,and obviously arch modification was need at the rear.
The wheel specs are-
Fronts-17"x8.5J ET-15 Tyres-205/40/17
Rears-17"x10J ET-14 Tyres-245/35/17
I rolled both rear arches, then had to use a skim of filler, heres how i far ive got with one side

I'm taking notes Shaz.. might have to pick your brains about this conversion in the future if you don't mind
