£350 sounds like quite a sensible way progress for now, but if you are hoping this car is going to become a sought after classic you will be best keeping your eyes peeled for an original Alpina head.

The rest is in a waiting list.

Rod, its done too many miles to have a real value so it to be fixed and enjoyed. You won't be finding another in a hurry and this will will defo have over 200,000 on it by the time i think of selling it

Thats the great thing about owning an 8 bag quattroporte cortina, when the 130 bhp lump of wheezy pig iron lets go, you just go and pull another one out of a fragged ambulance

Or a Scumitar. There seem to be loads of these plastic pigs in breakers.
Peter - these are actually either 120 bhp in the Zodiac or 138 bhp on the post 1972 Granada stuff. I can feel the P40 flexing from here.

Yes, mine would be a Zodiac engine. My nipper thinks it's faster than his 2.0 TDCI Mondeo?
Funny thing is, I have just come in from starting it up and checking it for its MOT.
