WHERE TO BUY A SET OF AZEV A
Moderator: martauto
They don't manufacture 16" A's anymore either. I'm fairly sure some of the larger sizes are still available (18" etc) but obviously totally useless for us lot!
Keep searching
I thought I read on a feeler thread recently about someone thinking of selling their 7.5 x 17??

18's are too big really!! Yeah with a lot of work and expensive susp. you can fit them but just a bit too big for the car looks wise imo
Probably fairly weighty also which never helps handling!!
choor, PM DublinBMW as he offered me a set (iirc) in p/x for my genuine Alpinas

I had 8x18" alpina reps on my last motorsport cabby, it actually felt better than the 17" reps that i had previously.
No modification required as long as the cad isn't lowered more than 35mm.
Mine is standard at the moment so will see how thy look or will lower it by 35mm.

I can confirm goldy had 18" alpinas on his old motorsport and i think they looked really good, didn't feel to bad on the short drive I took it on neither. I actually have some pics of your old cabby on my phone still goldy.

Get the pics up in here, I can't find my copy that I had. Would be good to see that car and how it looked..brettE30cab wrote:I can confirm goldy had 18" alpinas on his old motorsport and i think they looked really good, didn't feel to bad on the short drive I took it on neither. Personally I think 18's look a bit big. You'd have to drop the car a fair bit otherwise it'd sit too high in comparison and to do that properly isn't going to be cheap and it's a big compromise for road use. 18's on a track set-up would be fine, I just think it's a bit too much for the road.goldysingh wrote:not to big at all.suchy wrote:18's are too big really!! Each to their own but I can comment on it as I have had both 17" and 18" on an e30, I can tell you it looks better and te handling is better than 17's..suchy wrote:Personally I think 18's look a bit big.
