Ive seen a nice set of 15" alloys that apprently came off an E30 about 20 years ago.
They have BBS stamped on them but are an ET of only 13.
Will they fit and look factory or will they stick out a bit too much?

Im fairly sure they are 7J

ET13 will make them stick out a tad but they will be fine.

Do they look like this?

no its these:

thought I could polish or refurb them. Wanting my car to look totally original, and these are fairly understated.
But with them sticking out a bit im worried the car wont sit right.

Imo and E30 sits better on ET13.
55 profile on the rear may catch the arch, 50 profile wont catch.

I was thinking along mercedes wheels. 190 and W124 models, but 4 stud. Odd on an e30.

I didn't put them in the Wiki because they're so heavily modified, but these are Merc wheels on an E30:

They will fit near perfect but what they will look like is another story.

Did you buy them?

I think they could look ok, a bit similar to D90s.

i was going to take a punt on them if they stayed cheap enough as they were local.

i too thought they looked quite like d90s, there were a few others i thought they looked like but couldnt place them. et13 means they weren't standard on anything made in the last 30 years or so though!
cheers,

harry
