the old one was a new one....the 3d roundel was not around until about 2000 so the sticker in the car is correct. what you dont see is that it matches the plates

nice to see it in CSL buddy...where are the seats?

Thankyou for all the comments. 8)
sorry but the old one looked better, just my opinion though.
You prefer the newer style then?Fair play... just not my bag. This particular car is a period thing really,so original supplying dealer sticker,as per 1989 fitment is what it needs for that look,so it got it.Personally i much prefer these over the newer style. 8)

If i had a cosworth powered e30,i wouldnt be bothering either tbh!My car isnt perfect, however i want to get there one day, time and money permitting! :D

Looks great!

So where's the pics of the new interior?
Ive had that interior over a year now!.....still not in as yet,but its close! Its been in my spare room receiving regular loveing! :gay: It be going in any day now really. :D :D :D

Thankyou Atul,i really do like the work you did on this sticker, especially considering what we had to go on.Instructions for fitting were SPOT ON mate ......took me lots of time to align it though......something which wouldnt have troubled the car cleaning lad who may have fit the original in 1989,probably. :) Interior is undergoing cleaning and fitment of the morsel collection ive massed over the last 6 years.

Its about 122k ish.Either way its virtually a completely new engine now, with "everything" replaced with genuine BMW parts, including cyl. head.
Is it that black tech 1 then?

Yes,engine work done and has been run in.Just replaced the oil and filter....did the g/box and diff to, while i was there.Yes i was tempted by the SQR88,but im thinking im going to need an ipod thingamijig plugged in it all the time,as its a tape player???That would annoy me tbh!Or am i wrong?I know zero about head units though.

I must admit, the colours right. So,yet another :o: question....would one have to have a craddle mounted to carry that mp3/whatever thing around, when its in the car or what?Tbh,ive never bothered with them before,i just use whatever my cars come with! This is the first time ive felt the need to "improve" a cars audio.
