i was going to start on the top end rebuild of my car today, so as it was a bit cold out, i went in to my boot to get my jacket and what the hell!!!! :x
jacket had been made in to a mouse bed and bits of it missing, so i pulled the top liner boot cover off and there is another one.
no sign of wire damage that i can see?
so the hole day i was striping all liners and seats ect out still no sign of the little buggers so the traps are in place and its game on !!!

so if you live in the country like myself and your car is resting for the winter you might want to get your self some traps to lol

In evo mag they wrote about raising it off the floor on axle stands and between the car and the stands put a tarpaulin and tuck it up into the arches - should disuade the little b@st@rds :)

Sounds like you've got a hole somewhere Chris, get the Mtec kit off and you may find some nasty surprises.

I have found ware it got in I think, there is a small hole near the rear bumper/spare wheel under the car. That can be taken care of
I have the traps in place and if that don't work the poison is next lol

Traps will work ten times better if you use some smoked salmon or fried bacon pinned to a wooden trap. That way the little critter cant rob the bait.

They get in via the air vents in the boot, behind the sides of the rear bumper. I came across one car where they had eaten the rubber flap away.

They could also get in by a more devious route of under the front wheel arch liners, through the triangular drains from the scuttle, and then in through the fan and heater box.
