This is the ECU from '87 D reg 325i
Is it a Motronic of L-Jetronic ECU ?

I figure its Motronic cos its got 35 pins and L-Jetronic has only 14 as far as I know, but need to know for sure !

Don't know what a L-Jetronic ECU actually looks like, but that looks like an ABS ECU to me.

agreed, no way thats the engine ECU, unless its some weird US only jobby.
D plate 325i should have an "073" ECU , all the euro spec 325s are motronic

OK. Thanks guys ! New to E30's just finding my way around this beauty !
Wheres will I find my ECU then ? This one came out of the glove compartment. My manual seems to indicate thats where it should be.

On RHD it is under the steering column.
