hard top rear demister question

i have a e30 1987 convertible i have been using my standard soft top with the rear seat blower to clear the back screen .. happily...
i have now bought myself a BMW hardtop which fits nicely onto the car and the rear pins go down well into their locating holes..all is well in that matter... the only thing i have noticed that now with the hardtop in when i press the rear demister button the blower doesn't work anymore.. there are two wires on the hardtop located one at each pin... i take it they have to plug into somewhere for the glass window demister to work... where do they go???
(p.s if i take the hardtop off and use the soft top the blower starts to work again).... cheers guys

You need to do nothing, once the hardtop is located in the pins and locked, the rear blower is disabled and the rear demister will work on the rear screen.
