Posting this on behalf of a member on bmwowner.com

It's been a while since i've seen a cheddar gorge meet organised, it's even longer since i've been to one, iirc the last time for me was when my headgasket was on it's way out on my old loon and i got stopped by the law on the way home. That was around 5 years ago. So, it's got to be time for another one.

There's no time or date set, i'm just seeing if there's any interest for now, so what do you guys think?

Lets organise an E30 specific meet then?
Cheddar,Dartmoor,whatever?
Ive not been to one for a while now so would be good to catch up with everyone.
Throw some ideas in the air, maybe even a new thread, see what happens?

Cheddar's usually a good E30 turnout, I can't imagine any reason for it to be cancelled unless the gorge has caved in LOL?

Lets just carry on same time, date and place?

Agreed Alex. WTF decided it was off anyway? Is there a posse in Devon trying to over rule Somerset? Tony , you're always welcome in the RIGHT county. LOL. Be good to see you, as always.

It's been cancelled because of the grand prix and theres been a large increase of police at cheddar because of "boy racers", people speeding and drifting through it.

I might go, depends on work!

TBH we're not an irresponsible lot, be best to enter and leave the gorge from the North instead of from the village (south).

Perhaps a quick run up to Minehead leaving around 11 or just after?

Hey Pete, good to catch up. Your brake lights are sticking on, if you can pull the brake pedal up then it's just the linkage bar which runs inside the cabin from brake pedal to servo (behind the glovebox) that needs adjusting. It has a left hand thread on one end, right hand thread on the other, undo the locknuts, turn the bar (7mm spanner) and the pedal will either move up or down depending on which way you turn it, easy one that.
