As some of you know i'm fitting a Saph cossie engine in my coupe
From the info I have been given it looks like to fit the cossie radiator the chasis legs have to have slots cut out for the radiator due to the width.
I would prefer not to be cutting into the car and use a different radiator which will be suitable to run with the cossie set up and fit without the need to chop.
Anyone have any ideas on what to look at?
What radiator couuld I use with Cosworth YB?

i had rad and intercooler custom made for mine.
also seen notches cut out of the chassis legs too so the cossie rad and intercooler fit.

Yeah I have pics of fuzzy's engine bay set up with the notches in the chassis legs, I have the cossie rad and intercooler but the intercooler is an Rs500 one so quite big compared to the standard Rwd intercoolercecotto_singh wrote:i had rad and intercooler custom made for mine.

Any pics of yours? Did you keep the hydraulic clutch system or go with the cossie system?

yep, my chassis legs were cut and welded with the standard cosworth rad ,cooler and twin fan set up. it wouldnt have been they way id have done it myself but thats specialists for you.
next step was a custom rad and cooler as there was a lot of space available.
at the time my plans were a big rad in the normal position and a custom cooler possibly in front in the space behind the grill. never got around to it though.
i had lots of problems in my previous cosworth conversion when i used the cosworth cable clutch set up so avoided it this time and kept the e30 hydraulic system, the guy done a rough job but it worked well.
it also makes lighter work of gear changes when using heavier duty clutches.
