I can't tell you how much I adore Manta B' coupe's too. I've built a few nice ones with my mate , the last one of which was C20LET powered and had just over 300bhp. winkeye

Bits are getting scarce for Manta's now though so I imagine owning one would be a pain in the tits , they were bad enough for ma mate to get bits for back then.

Look forward to seeing some of this yank stuff too as I have a soft spot for yank metal despite it's awful handling. lol
:D

everyone loves a juicy yank! I'll try and scan them in later.. (yup, real photo's.. old skoolin'!) I used to pick up Manta's for bugger all and weigh them in when the rails went.. these days a crap shell is making four figures! it's obscene!

I can't get over the fact that someone after owning a ford would ever contemplate a second..

I wonder how many ford orions there are on the roads these days

nova 1.3 SR or a 1.3 pushrod fiesta

no thanks henry

bluebirds were so much better than any ford. I wouldn't entertain any era of mondeo down the col de turini, however me & my mate decided after the 3rd run in the SPI bluebird, it was time to hit monaco EPIC

Haha! I did wonder if someone would notice the solitary non BMW/Ford in that line up!

I payed £50 for it so i could get to work while i built the RST cabrio.

It lasted two weeks and the gearbox blew! Good spec though!

bluebird 250k miles no issue whereas any ford that made it to 100k miles needed replacing - which would probably explain why you had so many Barry :D

a friends dad had a Poobird LX saloon (with the executive bodykit no less!) with 350,000 miles on it! I had one years ago, awesome cars.. shame they were FWD...

need to add a wide starion turbo, mitzy sapporo, toyota crown and a nissa cedric to my list of shame if we're dredging out the riceburners.. :D
