My mate is coming in 4 weeks so prob not in time to have this GB finalised and the headers made.

Still don't know what just the headers would cost.....

Thats for the headers and downpipe/x pipe right?

I have btb copy headers with a x pipe already, which I have modified to mate up to the original mid section, I can reuse the x pipe. I see the value is in the the headers themselves, so to reduce cost it would be good to get a price on just the headers.

What would be the cost for the headers alone and can we loose the vat? I have a mate coming from the UK for Christmas, could he bring em with him?
The are strict rules concerning zero rated VAT for export, which mean we have to have proof of export to qualify. For that we need a shipping company receipt. Sorry.

What do you mean BTB copy? Unless they are ours, then I cannot guarantee that any of our parts would line up with what you have got already.

We would all appreciate an answer to this question??
Our prices are fixed as we cannot reduce the specification of our exhausts without compromising their quality. I understand that you have other cheaper alternatives for the system, which is why we have the X pipe option, so you can choose. The power gains quoted in the thread are in line with what we have experienced, but have come from customers so are as real world as you can get.

Im interested in buying your exhaust system. Im not looking for a reduction in the specification of your system, but a fair deal considering that there are a few others interested aswell, and will be purchasing the manifold also. Its very hard to justify forking out over £900 for 2 exhaust boxes. If you can do some sort of a deal I would be interested and id say the others would agree also. Thanks

+1 Think of it this way you will get more interest if you lower your price a little I have seen posts on the E30 owners forum too and they all say that although the BTB system is awesome the price is too much...some E30s are worth less than the system.

I've just re-read the old Btb group buy thread from 2 years ago (sep-november 2009) and the price for the complete system was £1285 plus postage.

So compare that to todays prices below

5 manifolds - £747 + £924 = £1671

10 mainfolds - £648 + £924 = £1572

Thats a price hike of either £386 or £287 in 2 years

£386 is more likely with the lack of interest so far

Sorry to be so blunt but someone had to say it!

Any chance of an 'all in one deal' at a better rate as darren_mk suggested?
... and an answer to the above please

Evening all, i have not been online much lately so not been upto date with how this is going.

looking at the above postings not very well.

After Joe takinng the time to put some prices together for us on a group buy I did NOT expect everyone to start pleading for further reductions on the offers given!

If you are begging for further reductions then i feel you shouldnt be in the market for the full system just purchase the 6 branch that you originaly wanted.

A discount price has been given for a group buy in a few different options to allow better prices for members.

PLEASE DO NOT PLEAD FOR FURTHER REDUCTIONS

All in all you get what you pay for here, the systems are thoroughly tested and proven gains.

I'm not looking to get a further discount, I'm just trying to get a specific shipping quote because that is what the first post said to do.

So it looks like $828 (not VAT) Aussie plus shipping IF 10 blokes get their shit together. I guess shipping would be around $200?
So a touch over a grand for the six branch plus the cross pipe. Tempting. A second handy just sold on ebay over in Perth for more than that, without the cross pipe.

I am in if I can wack it on a credit card and hope the wife doesn't notice :)

My post was not refering to you asking on postal costs mate, just a note to those trying to push for further reductions in price.

from looking you only need 1 more to be able to get the group buy of 5 or 6 to get the group buy of 10

Do you realise that our back box has a single 2 1/2" inlet pipe and then twin outlets, so it will not be compatible with other twin pipe centre sections? Which style of tailpipes did you require, M Tech 2?

At the moment, it doesn't look as though a group buy price will be able to be applied to system parts, so based on our retail list the back box alone will be £585.60 including VAT but not carriage.

Dug this dyno graph/info up from one of the old threads on the BTB Manifold :-

Dyno Printout Explained:

The red lines represent BHP and Torque without BTB manifold -167.3 bhp / 180 lb/ft

The blue lines represent BHP and Torque with BTB manifold -185.6 bhp / 190 lb/ft

BTB, in 2005, developed what is now the best 6 branch manifold for the E30 RHD cars with the M20 engine. The initial agenda was a high performance manifold which would benefit a supercharged 2.7 M20 engine.

The manifold has equal length primaries and has the highest levels of construction.

Trials were conducted in 2006 on a stock BMW E30 325i and the results were spectacular giving a peak gain of 18bhp. The before and after dyno was done on what is regarded as the most accurate chassis dyno in the world - the Dyno Dynamics dynomometer.

The manifold is made in stainless steel only and includes downpipes to fit any 3 piece BMW E30 OEM, Mongoose, Scorpion and Sebring exhaust system (Scorpion and Sebring are available through Evo-S). The down pipes include a lambda boss and an X-pipe to enhance the scavenging effect of the exiting gasses.

These manifolds have been fitted to some of the most high powered E30's including Scott Player's 260 bhp 2.8, Oguz 327's 225 bhp 2.7 and a very potent Alpina C2 2.7 which was recently featured in Total BMW and lastly but not leastly "Racecar's" Supercharged 2.7.

These will fit directly to any Sebring, Scorpion or OEM 3 piece exhaust.

So get your name down for some proven power gains :)
