Is the idle speed just controlled by the throttle cable position?

Same as mine.....
The idle speed is controlled by the ECU via the ICV (Idle Control Valve) the TPS( Throttle position sensor) and the crank sensor/Induction pick up lead on spark lead No. 1.
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....
