Was just wondering about other e30zoners previous cars, mine started out with a 1988 mk2 fiesta 1117cc manual then led to a 1996 316i compact manual, then myself and a friend had a slight business venture where we brought and sold a 1989 e32 735i se auto, i drove it round the local private roads and then entered my auto phase , so then i brought a 1991 e30 316i auto found it abit slow and small so then brought a 1994 e34 525i se auto found her abit juicy so brought a 1989 xr3i manual found that a tad unreliable then onto my current car an e46 318i manual an shes a beaut, abit of a lond thread but i'm sure it could be bettered if anyone has the time lol

E30 the only car I can say I really love since the classic Mini, no doubt about it.
I drove a lot of different cars, company vehicles, and I used to deliver cars for a dealership, but these are the ones I owned.

When I was 19:
1995 Ford Fiesta 1.6 si - Blue, fitted with 2.1ltr ZVH RS turbo engine... Blew it up around silverstone Never driving anything more terrifying

1994 Vauxhall Corsa 1.5D - Ratted out and slammed daily driver.. was stolen at the side of the A5.

Got my 1988 BMW E30 320i - Delphin Grey when I was 20. Swapped in a m20b25 last year, and now running m52 this year
Finally bought the 1997 BMW e36 328i donor car this year (being 21) and drove it for a bit before gutting it for my conversion

I quit my job and moved to Holland... Then when returning, they didn't want/need me anymore Even though I was promised my job would remain open to me... Ahh well. You learn from your mistakes!

At least nor I have a really nice, rusty, paint flaking E30...

I sat down with a couple of friends the other night and whilst putting the world to rights over a bottle of Martell we worked out I'd had around 150 cars of varying quality.. so here's a few choice ones till I can dig out the pics of the trans-am's and the ill-fated cadillac..

V8 in a sierra anyone? she was a right handful but I loved her dearly..


Mk2 Granada 2.8 ghia x.. 2 pumps, 4 rams, lots of farting about and eight batteries! almost got arrested three-wheeling it through Brighton on several occasions..




along with those I've had about ten mk2 golfs.. 11 or 12 opel mantas (B-cc's not poxy hatchbacks) and a stack of big old mercs, jags etc.. I've had some dirty little cars too including a haunted D reg civic which was hi-larious fun and several ancient pickup trucks (yeee-haww!) god I love cars.. even the sh*t ones..
