Saw this in Melton today- what was the first reg this 5 series started as?
this was proper retro- I was the only person standing and looking tho...

How much would it cost to bring that to concours condition and is it even possible for that to even be allowed to enter concours?

Its an E12 and the first ones were '72 on the L i think.

Bloody hell, an E12 520i with the 2002Tii Kugelfischer injection engine! Registered in either Aberbeen or Newcastle area a long, long time ago - RG swapped over in 1974. Looks like Granada red, or used to be.
Amazing that it's still on the road.
