Lol i am by far more of a BMW man but the Porsches i really like in my collection should i win the lottery:

Porsche 959 - truly stunning, a hypercar, a legend (up there with the McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, Bugatti Veyron in terms of untouchable ness)

Porsche 993 Turbo - it looks stunning similar in some respects to the 959

Porsche 993 Carrera 2S Coupe Manual

Porsche 997 Carrera 2S Coupe Manual (Generation II) with LSD, PCCB, Sports exhaust.

Though the 993s and 996s have poorly designed interiors compared to BMWs in my opinion. 993 looks the most beautiful shape to me. Mind you only the recent 997 GT3 (Generation II) have started producing Porsche NA engines with over 100bhp/litre and over 8000rpm.

Before that BMW M had them all over with regards to specific engine outputs and maximum revolutions per minute.

e.g. compare the E46 M3 with the 996 Carrera / GT3.

The 959 is by far more beautiful than any E92 M3, E60 M5 in my opinion.

Sorry, whatever qualities the 959 may possess, beauty is not one of them.

I had a picture hanging up on my wall when I was a wee lad of a 288GTO and another one with an F40 and a Countach, truly epic looking cars

I think i had a toy 288GTO as a kid and a Ferrari F40 poster.

But how can people get their head round a E92 M3? I mean just look at it. Then look at a E46 M3.

They only buy E92 M3 because it is the latest M3 just like when the E60 5 Series was the latest 5 Series whereas the E39 5 Series (facelift) / E46 M3 was a proper looker.

And speaking of which look at the E36 3 Series anyone of them then look at the equivelent E30 3 Series which looks so much better. e.g. 2-door saloon/Coupe, Cabriolet.

Countach that is sex on wheels especially this one

Arent's Porsche 911s (because they are rear engined) so much harder to drive and control the oversteer (along with mid-engined cars e.g. Ferrari 355/360, MR2 Mk2) than BMWs?

I love to hear's peoples tales on here of a BMW E21 323i i been told you need balls the size of planets to drive that  and also a comparison against a BMW E30 325i (SE/Sport) in terms of how they are to control the oversteer?

They were in the 959 era, so Porsche built a 4WD twin turbocharged monster that topped out just shy of 200mph. Lunatics.

Those were the days in the 1970s and 1980s where you had to be a MAN to drive a 911.
