That was one of the first tracks Mo I ever played in my first car back in 1981. THE first track was Ghost town by the Specials! All on C60'sBlitz wrote:
Great lyrics.
"Pull up to my bumper baby / In your long black limousine / Pull up to my bumper baby / Drive it in between", and "Grease it / Spray it / Let me lubricate it"

such an arrogant statement. " modern music is shit " music back then wasnt shit? you had zeppelin and skynyrd yes but you had a whole load of shit around at that time aswell but everyone seems to forget it and just remember the good. theres loads of decent stuff around these days you just have to look extra hard because time hasnt sifted out the shite.
probably some decent 70s reggae and dub. roll slow and low.
beenieman also has a great tune for all bmw owners - who am i
zim zimma, whos got the keys to my bimmer

everything is resampled shit nothing amazing and good!
i mean if you look at rap!
where are the basslines like dre was kicking out back in 2000
like still dre, forgot dre, next episode etc
there where all riffs and basslines when you herd them u was buzzing!!!
i grew up on dance music from the late 90's and i loved it. and still get the same buzzing feeling where i here i track from back then
nothing "modern" hits me like that

Easy there fella, this isn't exactly a serious thread. There is some good music still delivering these days (early arctic moneys, are a great example) but on the whole its repeatable crap that is easily forgotten as soon as the song ends. I blame most of my hatred for modern music firmly on radio one. I cant bare listening to the mouth breathing morons with the IQ and sense of humour of the average primary school child.verde wrote:such an arrogant statement. Music wasn't perfect in the old days (anyone remember "john wayne is big leggy"?) but whenever choosing my play lists i fall back firmly on 60's 70's and 80's and the odd one from 90'.
And I'm not arrogant, I'm just always right.
