Been a while since I last posted properly :P

Anyway, one last thing left is power to the starter motor. On my conversion, I don't seem to have a power lead going to the starter motor? There is a cable going between the starter motor and the alternator.

Has anyone got pics of how their's is connected up?

TIA

Straight from battery positive to same terminal on starter as the one going to the alternator, or if battery in boot the straight from the +ve terminal on the bulkhead. Thats how I did mine anyway! :)

Is that using a separate cable/lead or was it one coming off the main loom (C101 plug loom)?

Its a thick seperate wire Imy (as thick as the one that comes off the battery, about 10mm thick) iirc standard E30 one is long enough.

I think its number 1 in this link.

Looks like it's NLA. I'll have to try and get the one off the other cabby and hope it fits :)

One off most BMW's will work if its long enough and have the right connections, somethings ringing a bell about using an E34/32 as its slightly longer than E30, but im sure you can use the E30 one without a problem.
