 shame mate!

It looked a good'n when you bought it! Then you found the hidden sin's. Then you sorted them. Now someone else is going to reap all the benefits.

One chance only car!

Has it gone to a zoner?

when i removed the fooked engine it was clear to me that someone hadn't done a good job when fitting it,not to mention the other problems that soon became apparent after Alex bought it.

for a £4k car I would expect better.

all the gear box bolts were wrong and one of the larger top ones was completely awol.

moving on to the worn out clutch [on it's final legs] and all the hex clutch plate bolts rounded out and x2 of them were normal bolts that could well cause unbalance.the thrust bearing noise was intolerable .

all the electrics packed up and a nice awkward weld repair was needed.

Alex spent a fortune on the car in first place and didn't expect a project on a £4k car.

you paid fragg money for the car iirc

:?

best thing i saw whilst working away was decent bushes and a few good brake lines, also the inner arches resto work and paint job were top workmanship.

the rest i fixed .

i didnt have the engine out so the bell housing bolt are from a previous owner as was the clutch issue i put the thrust bearing noise down to the first motion shaft bearings witch i told alex about before he aquired the vechile
sorry i didnt check if they were all the right bolts never accord to me to check
i wasnt aware of any electrical issues as all was working fine when it left

i appoligised to alex about the welding that was needed if i new it was there i would of had it sorted

i really dont see that he was shafted or ripped off
why would i go to all the effort of doing the body work and suspension and brake lines 100%
and then just leave the rest and then sell it to a forum member that i no and that i no would be on here a lot and would be posting about it on here

im not going to fall out with any one on here but i wont publicly be called a count and made out that i have ripped any one off
