Hi Guys! I need to change the temperature sensors on the thermostat housing of my 325. I managed to get the brown one undone with a 19mm open ended spanner.

But how the hell do you get to the blue one????? :cursin:
Can't get a spanner on it as the end of the fuel rail sticks out.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I'm doing the job tonight.

you can get these out using the spanner on its tip, with a screwdriver to provide leverage through the ring end Dan, sounds dodgy but it the best way without stripping the rail off.

Cheers Ant.

I was dreading having to take the thermostat housing off again as I have only just put everything back together after fitting a new head etc.

heyup. probably a bit late for you, but i changed the blue sensor in question today. used the spark plug grip from the tool kit in the boot, and a bar through one hole at top to turn it. just a note. cheers.
