which fuel rail should i be using with my m52b28 when i fit the m50 manifold? the m50 or m52?
obviously the m50 fits better but with the outlet being the other end will i encounter problems later?
cheers,
Matt

You can use either AFAIK. I've used the M52 rail, but you need to make up a couple of small plates/brackets to secure it as it doesn't line up with the fixing points.

As above ^ is exactly what I did. Making up the little plates isn't hard and a lick of hamerite black you'd have to look hard to notice them
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better

my m52 rail really dosent fit though.
ive bent the fuel inlet and outlet pipes a bit, as they were contacting the mani, but the brackets still stop it locating onto the top of the injectors. i might just use the m50 one and a bit of extra fuel hose to the other end of the rail...

I use the m50 rail with the m50 metal fuel lines under the manifold, It is much easier to get the e30 rubber fuel lines on this way.

M52 stainless steel rail looks much better and also comes with quick release connectors for the fuel lines

m54 fuel rail cover FTW
I struggle to get to the connectors on the m52, let alone release them quickly
