it makes the car alot more drivable, not really a performance mod. One to increase the joy of driving your bmw

some do, this one irons out a few flat spots, gives the M20 a bit more surge above 3.5k.
Ask Ant he can make it run lean through the rev range and idle at 400rpm if u wanted!

I had a Zone chip in my old E30, it increases your rev range and takes away the dead spots on acceleration - Worth the doug any day i'd say and it went through 2x mot's with out having to put the old chip back in.

i had a 320i, so i know if it removes those dead spots during acceleration it's a good mod! if i remember right the main spot is approx 500rpm-6500rpm?

fitted one in my m20 and it feels stronger in the mid range and top end - certainly more driveable - and for the money you cannot go wrong. the real winner for me was that ant can be flexible on what you want - i have an ancient ml3.3 motronic from an 85 car and other chips i tried did not work - but he managed to sort me out
