zone chip,
ant r u there ,got zone chip m8 just fitted -but my ecu was slight different -tabs on one side and four sealed screws on tother.
my idle was good before now it is lower 650 ish by tacho, although good performance from 2 thousand revs is very noticeable.

i know should have made note of ecu no. but is done now -right /wrong ecu???? 89 325 touring
old chip has 1267355740 on it??????

overall i am impressed with bbtb/chip combo

Hi dude !

sounds like you have the later ECU in yours, the screws dont make any diff to the internals, they just made them harder to open.

If you find your idle is not quite as expected get the idle mixture setup on a gas bench to suit the new fuelling curves

any further issues let me know Ok, full aftersales service on the product mate, I can exchange for a higher idle speed variation if you prefer?

Clean out the ICV, make sure its spotless inside, it will be sitting in a new location form where its spent the last 12 ish years, could well have pulled in some crud affecting its operation.

Keep us posted

cleaned it couple of weeks ago,but tonight on A road in traffic and tickover dropped ,car would not rev up-so pop bonnet checked around -pulled of icv plug and all was well ,so tried it on again and ok ,but low revs seem to set it off?started last night reversing onto drive in rain up incline so revs dipped and car started to play up ,in the end it would not drive so left it till today, then it done it again after couple of mile.i would of thought ht fault maybe cap,but when i removed icv plug it affected it so ill have to dig a bit deeper!
