This is a bitch to get out, its like its welded in there!
Anyone else experienced this? There seems to be a metal rind at the front but its not part of the seal and the seal is just coming out in bits!

Shouldn't be any problem at all to hook out. I've even seen fresh ones fitted without even removing the old one!

Well this ones a pig. not budging and coming out in pieces.... the spring/ring has come out now.... still stuff left. Something can't be right.

i done mine the other week funnily enough was pretty straight forward with a little help from sir brian just got a screw driver and levered it out tapped the new one in with a socket but being under it last night some things still leaking so looks like ive gotta do the rear oil seal to :evil:

funny thing is the new one looked nothing like the old one.
Done it now just thought something might have been wrong.
Umm, might do that seal aswell.
