it will be sad to get rid of the sport but what its costing me i dont think its worth it :)

oce the 6 pot novelty wears off i had just as much fun in my 318is and at a fraction of a cost. ok its wasnt as good condition but still..........

Touring looks promising. It would be a really nice daily. Its also a great candidate further down the line for an M52 conversion.

It will be the perfect e30 daily. A b25 is no good as a daily unless you have loads of money to waste on fuel or dont do many miles :D

Once its done its getting a 4.45 LSD from the states no doubt about it

Thought i would update if anyone is wondering whats happening to this sorry turd - probably not

Well unfortunatly i had to sell the wheels and IS lip due to a Money shortage crisis.

Things are moving along slowly

iam currently in a bit of debt so i'am currently thinking of selling my mk5 golf, love it to bits however i would rather have the extra money everymonth to spend, so that leaves me with needing a daily. i have been given a quote of £800 to get this resprayed so that can come of the golf once sold :D

i have a valance which i won on ebay for a fiver just in the process of organising a courier.

need to borrow a ball joint splitter from my mate and i will whip the wishbone off, new one all ready to go on.

started the car the other day for months started straight away and was silky quiet, never ever heard an m40 this quiet, even at the limiter you cant here any tapping or wear to the top end at all, its quieter than most m40s with a top end rebuild

ive got a full 13 button obc with 318i coding plug waiting to go in, also got some tweeter pods, fire extingusher and perfect mint oem mats, should finish it off nicely. oh and my 2 year old tech 2 wheel which is still like new.

before it goes into get resprayed i will be fitting some se skirts which will be colour coded. quick question if anyone hasnt lost interest. do cars with SE skirs from the factory have colour coded rear valances without lower black half????

some current photos of the turd

Alex don't be :gay: you don't need a balljoint splitter - just a suitably weighty tapping device

Just make sure you undo the nut on the steering rack rod ends far enough to fully protect the thread before you hit it :D

My golf will be going soon and i have the choice of a bmw compact with every dash warning light illuminated, broken window mechs and fooked abs system, or pull my finger out and get this finished.

i choose the latter.

some pictures ive found on ebay for inspiration

All my goodies ready, got a full toolkit, nice set of 60k oem mats not pictured. Tweeters, OBC with 318is coding plug (nearest i'am going to get) new keys, Fire extinguiser, almost new bmw bonnet badge, and brand new rear badge 2 year old 10k Mtech 370mm Steering wheel, Tweeters.

Also got some ice to go in, only council part will be the 8" speakers i'am going to fit into the rear cubby compartments, i know its very council but i like loud audio in my cars. plain grills will be fitted. rear speakers are 100w rms, and front comps are 100w rms with a vibe amp that kicks out 100w rms x4, all will be wired to a "period" blaupunkt woodstock which features AUX in for ipod and AUX out for Amp winkeye

the used front wing ive got is a little shabby round the edge so i just took advantage of the ECP 25% off offer and bought a new one. Ive painted the back of it with anti rust primer as pattern wings wont last as long.

Moment of madness tonight, I'am ditching the leather in favour of a blue touring design edition interior, for those that dont know its the same as whats fitted to the 318i design edition cabbys, however the touring version was avalible in germany.

Got a bit carried away, its costing me £200 for the rear seat and a set of door cards posted from germany, probably paid too much but what the heck.

All i need now is a set of front seat of Design edition sports seats.

I would of prefered the purple version however that would mean getting the front seats from germany too

Its like marmite, however i love it, looks funky and different, i dont like to be the same as everyone else :D

Its fine. Dont miss the E30 that much but I'm jealous of your touring. Thats going to be a great winter runabout. Get some winter tyres on it.

I will be blitz. was there a massive difference when you had yours fitted ?

i do prefer purple but that would mean importing a pair of seats and dread to think of the postage
