Does anyone know if the mtech 2 steering wheels for e36 will fit onto an e30 without modification?

Iv seen an e46 m sport steering wheel on an e30 before but i don't know if it had a e46 coloum or not

well, yeah, the spline (unlike BMW in their backwardly / forward compatible wisdom) changed over time. Probably in line with the fact the steering wheel incorporated airbags / cruise etc..
