Just won this on evil bay 1998 323i sport touring in Boston Green






Quite a nice spec.........

The not so good bits..........

170k
Small hole in the drivers bolster (easy repair)
No sun roof (although some would see this as a good thing?)
Auto Box (kinda want an auto but sure i'll get bored in the end)

And the worst problem............



Got ripped off down a county lane when the driver puller on to the verge to let another car past, just need to source a bumper and call in a favour from a mate to get it sprayed up.

Price paid £670, good price?? Don’t really know what these are worth tbh

Just need to find a good e36 forum now thats touring friendly

I've never really liked green tbh buy this dark green looks ok as far as green goes and i may do a full wrap on it yet anyway

Just got back from collecting my new bumper...........







Still got the grill, fogs, crash bar, splitter, clips, most trim sections and a washer bottle which I’m not sure will be useable on the touring???

Need to get hold of the centre trim piece where the number plate sits and the tow eye cover and both brake ducts about £50's worth of parts from the dealer I think or £20 from a breakers

Should have enough bits here to mackle a bumper on to the car for the journey home me thinks?

how did you find the E36 323i Coupe when you had it......out of curiousity as i never driven a E36 3 Series and i have the E46 323Ci Coupe:

what was it like to drive?
what was it like to handle?
in dry and wet conditions?
oh and did you get it sideways?

I dont really know about E36 prices but if it is well maintained and in really good order sounds like you got a car at a cheap price it might even be good to last for a good few years who knows?
