Yeah, Still about like a bad smell!
It's a nice one, but needs different wheels though. There's another 528 motorsport with M30B35 in it, with recaro fronts and dogleg box, 17" alpinas but doesn't look as nice as the fully kitted M535i!

Tourings were first sold in the UK in 1988, and they were only made in Germany from September 1987, so you're not going to find one.oze30 wrote:Still looking for a touring.. Must be pre 88 so early F reg, E reg.

Considering I had a body lined up befoire I left, yes... Yes I can!
Rust wise, meh.. Minimal will do, just no gaping big holes through the panels!

Have you tried finding a REALLY NICE pre '89 325 touring, getting it up to scratch, shipping it, paying the duty/tax/customs charges and getting it registered in Australia ? Do you know how much all of the above costs ?
I thought not.
Colin I have a decent lachs silver '88 325 auto touring with FACTORY AIR. It has a few issues but it is not a hanging sh1tbox. Send me a pm if you want to know more.

Cost me 4k gbp to ship my golf and belongings to Aus. If I did a roll on roll off, it would have been cheaper. I registered mine as a personal import so it was before the then 88 rule (1984 mk2) so I was allowed to import it having owned it for a year. 1.5k AUD to engineer it then register it another 700aud.
Not bad in the scheme of things, but im in the process now of converting it to a VR5 6speed 4motion. I just need to know the width of the E30 rear beam mounts. And then we will see how we go.
Still miss that bus........
