I'm trying to work out the controls for both the screen and the headlight wash/wipe should be doing and I've not got the handbook to check. The wiper stork both pulls towards the driver and presses in towards the steering column.

Can someone clarify what both movements of the stork do? I take it the headlight washers dont function unless the lights are turned on.

Or should I just remove the headlight wipers altogether as one side doesnt wipe and the other doesnt squirt?

Headlight wash wipe doesn't work without lights switched on.

Stalk pressed in towards steering column will activate the intensive wash option, which will spray a mix of water and the neat fluid (which is in the second bottle) over the screen and headlamps (every 5 ops) for about 5 secs.

Pull stalk towards driver will operate the single pump for normal screen wash, and will only activate for the time you hold the stalk, this will also operate the headlamp wash wipe approx every 5 times used, but in my experiences, doesn't always happen!

All simon says is correct.
The non working washer on one headlamp must just be a blocked jet or dud inline valve.
The non working headlamp wiper has probably seized in the long output shaft. Easy to dismantle and free up. All been detailed on the forum before, so do a search.
