I went to e38 this year and although its mostly full of vw enthusiasts I couldnt help but notice that the m3 was constantly surrounded by loads of people! By far one of the most appreciated car there. Ive got quite a few pictures from it from the weekend so ill put them up

Amongst a sea of £700 sorry trams with 8k paintjobs and 6k retrims it must have stood out like a rose amongst chrome plated thorns ! :)

I didn't really take many pictures of VW's when I went suprisingly... they all look the same so what was the point  When I saw this though it just didn't look as tryhard as the surrounding dubs paid for with their student loans.

Thanks for all the positives guys, it really means a lot. I go to quite a few of the VW shows because that's where I started my car affair and I have a lot of good friends still in that arena. It's not often I get the chance to take the car so when Meguiars wanted the car on the stand along with Gregs Mk5 i jumped at the chance!

It was a shame the weather was a little shite on the Sunday but the standard of cars was incredibly high. Some of the Mk1's and Mk'2s were engineered to another level.

Cheers,

Warren

I live literally 5 mins from the Edition 38 site, and I usually go to the show in whatever BMW shed I have at the time, although I try and avoid the fanboys with their stripey hair stuck to their faces.

If any zoners go next year, pm me and we'll meet up for a tea

I'm sure I'll be there again next year, possibly early edition as well although I thought that was a bit of a let down but it killed time on a sunday I guess.
