I would just like to say a BIG thank you to DEMLOTCREW and TYLEMA for helping me convert my headlamps to smoked, angel eyes, and xenons all in one go, a lot of work and time spent doing this but the finished product has put a big smile on my face and was well worth doing not that i would do it again [not in one go] as we almost finished it by 3am in the morning leaving me about an hrs work to do today, pics will follow soon. THANKS AGAIN BOYS.

also thanks to sir B for the spare lamp.

Can't wait to see the pics Andy, if they look good in your car I'll put them in mine, your beemer and mine look exactly the same and even the bbs wheels are the same !, with the difference that yours is a cab and mine is a coupe. :D

stop tempting me!, would have to be done on the hella's as they have the xenons and the aggro i went to getting those done. It's not worth reversing........................... :?

I have smiley headlamps though, but andy P took the important bits back! probably in the touring is my guess!

Could still save the hellas mate
just unscrew the elipsoid unit from the back
and screw them onto the new set with the smoked and angels

I would recomend that because you then save the hellas

the back of the hellas have been modified for the xenons as these mount and have a different projection beam to the bosch units!

this was the problem originally as we thought the bosch unit would fit straight into the hell lamps wrong! as they mounting screws are at a slighty different places. They go in but then the lights are all over the place

see in this pic the straight level line which then kicks up at an angle?
Well bosch projectors on hella lights made these lines diagonal! imagine that. It was shite. So Andrew kindy did all the work again the hella unit to make it all work again.
