Spent the weekend going through it and i am pretty confident about it.
Cleaned under all the arches,including susp/brakes etc and all bushes look ok and steering etc seems fine too
Took the rocker cover off and give it a quick dose of Black paint,not perfect but looks better than it did.When fitting it back on,the top breather split so on further checking so were all the others,either split,hard or disconnected,so end up replacing them all
but what a difference its made,took it up the road(private of course 
) and massive difference,really smooth in all gears,very impressed 
Fixed washers and sorted all the lights.
Also took the dreaded towbar off at the same time
Gave it a hoover inside and its come up mint
Do have a slight problem with electric roof,see Tech section
Well hopefully this time tomorow it MAYBE MOTed so i can charge to the post office and get it Taxed,thats as long as my cover note turns up
Cant wait to take it out on a decent (legal) blast up the carriageway
