But your car, you choice. Good luck.

And another backer to keep it original.ah wrote:2ND THAT!B7 wrote:2 owners from new with 60k up convertibles do not come along very often these days. I'd be detailing it and leaving it standard.

90% of it back to original? Thats 10% that won't be and believe me, that 10% will wereck any potential value the car had.s6_dal wrote:yh i know it has been well looked after , but everything i do to the car im making sure that 90% of it can be returned back to standard so if i do eventually end up selling it and theres a enthusiast who wants a mint standard one , mine will be as i already have two other cars this one will only be used once in a while i.e meets , shows n them nice summer days lol

Once its changed, the odd hole drilled etc, that would rule it out for me...keep it as it is!B7 wrote:90% of it back to original? Tacking tech 2 kits to convertibles that never had them will leave issues when you remove it. I can understand wheels and to a point suspension but bodily, you'd be mad to molest this.
I'd be cleaning and detailing that over the winter, then next sping, put it up for good money and use the proceeds to molest a less attractive proposition. Chances are you'll finance what you want to do. That way you save a nice car for the enthusiasts and part finance your "dream".
End of the day though, it's your car.

I would say yes. Metal bumper cabrios with shadow line trim had body colour painted bumpers.adit wrote:are the colour-coded bumpers original?
