Agreed. has some provenance as well. I just love those early M Tech 3 spoke wheels.

theres one of these in a village near me, same year and white also, sitting outside amongst other older motors in cardenden, i think they sell and restore old cars and will be known to many on retrorides i expect, im gonae drop in and ask about it out of interest but i dont have the cash, space or time so i'll update any findings on here :wink:

The car in question is an E28, not an E12. It belongs to a taxi firm owner in Kirkclady and it's not for sale, it's there for refurb. I tried to buy it about a month ago.

The OP car sold for just short of £1300, so the black car sounds like better value, although we are waiting on the photos!

Photos are now up on that one...doesn't look too bad though he ominously mentions having a spare cylinder head in the text.

I really, really want one of these but have reconciled myself to waiting till I have ten grand to throw at one. The same applies to the 850 that will one day be mine!
