Following the granite silver thread below (or possibly above), how many people have a malachite E30? As far as i know it's only myself and Andy335touring but there must be more. Is it one of the less common colours?

I did start breaking it, but after further investigation, the rust wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd thought, the rust was only on the lips of the rear arches, hadn't gone anywhere near the inner arches, and under the fusebox, and that was it, even the scuttle is rust free, so it's easily repairable, but I haven't got the time or money at the momentso getting rid of it, I did try putting it in the for sale section to see if anyone wanted it, but no interest, so it looks like it's going to be going to the scrap yard :(

i think so, so has a guy who lives near me, hes made about 10 posts on here. It really is very rare, well on 318iS' it is along with sterling silver.

At rockingham 2003 i went round the whole place and my 318is which was sterling silver, was the only one i could find! and the only lazer blue one there was from Belgium!
