Can anyone help?
Only a minor problem but the Electric sunroof in my car wont tilt(on its own)
If you help it up slighty then its ok,but dont help it and it wont go up
Greased all the runners etc and it works perfect apart from this.

What needs adjusting?
Motor?

Any help appreciated

There's nothing to adjust. Probably the grease on the cables getting a bit thick.

Hi mate,
It happened to me exactly as you described, and also greased it without results. Mine would only work on hot days, so it made me think... that the motor was fine, it was just a question of the materials getting stiff with the change in temperature.
The way I fixed it is a bit brut, but it worked wonders on mine: I opened and closed it several times day in and day our for a few minutes, sometimes helping the sunroof to lift by hand sometimes it would do it on its own. In the end it just fixed itself by exercising and now opens in any condition and even in cold days too.
I hope this helps.

no problems mate.
Just watch out don't go spreading the WD40 all over the place or you could ruin the sunroof linning. :thumb:

Ive just had a similar problem but have changed the sunroof seal and it now works fine (old one must have expanded and got solid).

Try removing your seal and see if that works.

Same problem here, but I bent the back lining rail a bit now works like a dream.

Mine was sticking too. Re-greased it and it worked like new.
