well my renewel came through the other day, I was paying £226 with Lancaster and my renewel is £2800 odd :o :s I rang them up and enquired and apparently that's the price for this year.
I am only 22 is there any other classic car insurers I can enquire about? I only use the car on weekends, sometimes only a Sunday

i found my insurance had rocketed this year and nearly all the comparison sites had gone up too but i also found that some of the insurers i normally would avoid like direct line are now cheaper its worth trying everyone you can. i finally used a local broker and they cam up nearly 50% cheaper than someone who had already quoted me

Finding any kind of building in North London is becoming difficult.

The search function is a winner!

Following Rav's advice; my £480 Lancaster insurance quote was reduced to £188.14 with Pete Best.

Lovely old dear on the phone. Nice cheap price as a result. Happy customer.

I can only say i am gob smacked at the mad world of insurance after trying to insure a 325i Touring today.

Best qoute on comparison websites was around £900 for TPFT.
Lancaster qouted just over £1800 TPFT!!!!!!!!
Rang Admiral to for a multi car qoute since my daily is with them, £536 TPFT, still more than i was paying on a 325i Cab fully comp 3 years ago
Got on to Sky Insurance who got it down to £500 bang on, at this point i'm starting to think if it's worth even buying the car since that still way over the purchase price
Next stop RH Insurance, they wouldn't even qoute me due to my age
Last stop Pete Best, £206 fully comp

I've just moved over to Lancaster as well for £285.

More Than's renewal came back at £350 after £250 last year and £199 the year before.

The only way is up :(

I just did a online quote with Pete Best just to see what they came back with... £136.21 for the chromie... Although the details it asked for were very vague.

Also, when quoting online it states, ”¢BMW’s restricted to a maximum engine capacity of 2.0L

Might be different when speaking on the phone but they seem fairly good

Current insurance is £116 with Lancaster, but I know the price would be different if I did a quote now. :?
