Been told i have a 320 ECU in my 325 and am trying to make sure it is a 325.
Looked on the engine and found this number 1278 921 289 87 can anybody help?????

General picture of the engine won't help if it's been fitted with the 325 manifolds though.
Head casting number for a 325 of this age is 1705 885, but it's embossed above inlet ports 3 an 4, and is hidden by the inlet manifold when assembled.
However, if you look above exhaust port 2, there should be a small raised circular boss, embossed with the numbers 2.5 and 2.7.
