quick diff oil question

Until it reaches the filler plug level, but don't forget that the car itself needs to be level.

Medium case diff requires 1.7L IIRC and make sure you can remove the filler plug before draining it.

Best advice I ever took heed of; I bought a hex bit to do this job, but the gap between the diff and fuel tank prevented it being used on the fill plug. I rounded the inner hex socket and sheared all 6 corners off the well siezed plug with a chisel before giving up - I'd have been stuffed if I had already drained the diff before discovering this.BadDave wrote:Medium case diff requires 1.7L IIRC and make sure you can remove the filler plug before draining it.
