My mate owns a bodyshop and offered to machine polish the Tech 1 at the weekend.

Compound, polish and wax to spruce her up for me. :D

9am start on a Saturday morning

First we mask her all up to save cleaning all the plastics afterwards, a little time spent here saves a lot of time cleaning them up later.

Half way through painwork starting to polish p nicely now

Over 2.5 hours of work with the machines later the initail results are looking good.

We roll her outside to get a view in natural daylight.

It is strange what else you find on a industrial estate on a saturday morning

try a clay bar , an ag vinyl rubber treatment for the rubber

sport looks superb fella, stunning !!! what compounds did he use ? have you waxed it etc after ?

almost as nice as a lachs silver one winkeye :D

adi - by the products and bring it over, id do yours by hand for some parts like an obc etc , give it the same sort of treatment as i did with my is earlier in the year, when i took it up the hill and looked amazing, took me a good couple of days winkeye

In the past on other cars I have used black shoe polish just as a quick way of making the rubber look a little better until a more permanent solution was found

Cheers adit, thanks for the offer as well but think i will have to decline this time, gets a bit tedious even on your own car!!

Cheers polsta sometimes wish it was lachs as it is a pain in the backside to keep clean, always wanted a diamondschwartz Tech 1, personal prefererence I suppose. Nice Tech 1 you have there polsta have read your post about it, looks a very good example
