can't seem to get a decisive answer on this!

is this a good place? or can i buy it from somewhere in the UK? is this the right kit to buy?

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/mega ... f1de41b8cb

aside from the ecu kit, should i try to purchase the necessary sensors from the same place or can i get them in the UK?

so far i have a turbo (not the volvo one though!), 2x rover intercoolers to run in parallel, a load of aly tube and inlet plumbing. just need to find some m30 exhaust manifolds!

Its coming to the zone shop very very soon and at a decent price.

It will be built in the UK and there will be good very aftesales unlike if you bought it from overseas.

Currently working out prices.

This is pinched straight from Ant:

you can run Ms as megasquirt fuel only
MSnS for squirt and spark
MSnS-E for squirt and spark extra, fuel, spark and higher res 12x12 fuel/spakr tables with dual table option( this is what myself and Fozzy are using BTW )
MSnEDIS for wasted spark

Not sure if that helps at all.

Toby do i spy intercoolers in your bumpers?

Edit: I think this is the one you want, but i think there are other components you need to, que ANT when he comes along

Yes i certainly do have the motronic cack and a FMU, no standalone for me yet. As for Mark I thought he was running fuel and spark, but thinking about it they may only be running fuel at the moment.

Heres glens garage:

easy as that! cheers jon.

still no idea what to buy! i guess finding out what version Ant and Mark have would be a good start.

i'm a little concerned that buying a more up to date kit than these guys have might mean they're less able to help me tune it?

I got my MS2 unit from glens garage for US$250 + US$15 shipping to NZ.

arrived within a week.

Put it together, not, there are few tricks... make sure you pick the right version of MS. MS2 is more capable as a platform, but currently software has only basic fuel and spark functions. And ms2 at this stage does not run with 60-2 timing wheel late e30's have.

I'm doing install over newt few weeks and I'll update you guys.

Toby, Diy-Autotune would be an excellent choice of supplier

get the V3.0 PCB, I would have but was not out when I purchased mine and Marks, it has a VR conditioner circuit built in which is a bonus, the firmware/software is the same accross both V2.2/3.0 so we can still help each other out , no problemo

Get the PCB, the componenets, the casing , you'll need the DB37 loom and connector( buy complete!!) the processor should come pre-programmed , you'll need to reflash it to suit the code variation you intend to use, me an Mark can assist with that, its the hardest part of setting it up.

Assuming you are building yourself, make sure and get the stimulator kit too, its invaluable for getting it all working, also allows you to run simulations of load vs rpms etc on the bench without needing the ECU in the car

You'll need an 02 sensor, makes sense to order the LC1 wideband while you've got your wallet out M8, an NB can be used but for tuning the WB is a must have.

HTH, sorry for the no reply on PM, been unwell of late dude :(
