It's all just going to be made from scratch mate, separate chassis integrating a cage, E30 bodywork on top.
It will be a "winter project" of sorts. But I think this will be the end of JVN as a road car.

That's what it's all about, digging in and launching.
M52 sold, will be coming out in the next month or so.
Nowt will happen with the Chromie in the autumn, although there will be more bits to frag from it in due course like M3 interior, council dynamics ARB etc etc. Difficult to work out at this point what I'll be keeping, probably not much.

No idea on the spec mate, think it's 2 way adjustable at front & back, could even be 3 way on the front.
Only snag with it as that it seems wider than a stock one, so the front drop links sit at a funny angle, ideally a couple of rose joints would be the way forwards.
I don't have any verniers so can't measure thickness, there are some pics of it on this thread, will be probably before page 20 I'd guess

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Front top gasket ordered from the stealers today, so I'll hopefully get my arse in gear and sort the Vanos seals. Then I probably won't want to sell it lol.
My partner in crime on the chromie obliteration project is gathering bits through his contacts. A Ford 9" live rear axle has just been sourced/ donated

Well after some hot air about V12'ing the Chromie and smoking around in an E28 daily, I've come to my senses that the E28 will bore me and I'll cry like a girl about moving the M52 setup on.
After a ride out in JBU with Scott on Saturday I realised how nice a stock sport can drive and that I haven't given my car a chance, whinging about crashy ride from the -55 springs and rock hard B6 dampers, knocks & clunks etc. All the sort of stuff I can sort if I put down the bifta and actually work on my car
So I'm going to sort the E30 once I've done the engine swap on the wife's Golf.
I also would again like to apologise to the zoner who I had sold the M52 complete setup to as this has messed his plans up and I would be pretty narked to have ended in his situation.
