hi
i suffer from leaving my lights on
my first three cars had warning signals as soon as you open the door and i just never learnt the instinct if you know what i mean-
i'd like some way for the gong to go of if i open drivers door with lights on?
is this possible

Yes you can. Feed from the back of the light switch (with a fuse) from the On position, to a buzzer, to the door pin on the drivers side. When the door opens the pin switch closes and the buzzer sounds.
OR you could just learn to switch off your headlights. Much easier and cheaper.
